Position Summary:

Rochester Regional Health, located in Rochester, New York is seeking a Pathologist to join a growing practice which serves the medical diagnostics and clinical trials branches of Rochester Regional Health Laboratories. Candidates should be Board eligible or certified (preferred) in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (preferred); recent fellowship training (urologic pathology, gynecologic or perinatal pathology, dermatopathology or general surgical pathology) is advantageous but not required. 

• Join fifteen experienced Pathologists home-based at Rochester General Hospital, the largest hospital of Rochester Regional Health who are committed to diagnostic excellence, teamwork and clinical collaboration, working in partnership with a team of five experienced Pathologists at nearby Unity Hospital.
•The combined Pathology annual case volumes of Rochester General and Unity Hospitals are 80,000 surgical cases and 86,000 cytology cases, encompassing a wide variety of challenging diagnostic material and surgical subspecialties. 
•Rochester Regional Health Pathologists also have opportunities to participate in global clinical trials diagnostics.

Required Licensure/Certification Skills:

- MD or DO with valid New York State Medical License & Registration
- Residency training in Anatomic, Clinical or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Board certification or board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology; if board eligible, board certification is expected within two years of employment
- A minimum of 5 hours of Continuing Medical Educations (CME Category I must account for at least 3 hours) in the field of Pathology maintained yearly
- Active Infection Control Certificate
